AS a reward for coming through a tough task against Peterborough, Bristol City have been handed a tie against lower league opposition in the form of Crewe Alexandra in the second round.

Unfortunately for City they will not have home advantage on their side this time, but manager Gary Johnson is expecting a very similar kind of tie.

He told the official website: "They showed in beating Barnsley that they are no mugs, they have what it takes to beat a Championship side. When we go there we will have to be ready."

"They will be similar to Peterborough because they are a good footballing side and I'm sure it will be a really good game."
