BRISTOL City midfielder Lee Johnson has set his sights extremely high this season.

After narrowly missing out on promotion to the Premiership last season, Johnson, like his father Gary has insisted that his team have what it takes to recreate their great form from last year and again gain a place in the Championship's top six.

On a personal level Lee has also today revealed his ambitions to represent Scotland at international level, hoping that good performances for his club can earn him a call up.

Scotland manager George Burley has recently spoken of the need to attract 'new blood' into the national team and Johnson believes he has all the quality to make that step,

"I'd love to play for Scotland," he told Sky Sports, "I'm half Scottish with all my mum's side of the family from north of the border and I've got a lot of family up in Glasgow."

"It would be an honour to get the call."
