Leicester v Bristol City

Last updated : 17 February 2011 By BBC Sport

Bristol City captain Louis Carey suffered a broken nose in the defeat against Leeds, but has been passed fit for Friday's game.

Injury-plagued defender Christian Ribeiro could return to the squad, as could Jamal Campbell-Ryce, who has been struggling with a hamstring problem.

MATCH PREVIEW

Bristol City's win at the Walkers Stadium last season was their first victory at Leicester for 94 years. A victory there this time would be a shock, given the two teams' recent form. It would also see them complete the Robins' first league double over the Foxes since 1915.

Millen up for Leicester City challenge

Leicester have been transformed under Sven-Goran Eriksson, climbing to one place outside the play-off spots. They remain unbeaten at home since the Swede inherited a struggling team when he took over as manager in October.

They have won their last four matches, while midfielder Andy King has enhanced his growing reputation with three goals in his last four appearances, the last of which capped a fine away win against East Midlands rivals Derby County last time out.

While Eriksson's team have gone from strength to strength, Bristol City have floundered. The Robins' recent 4-0 thrashing of bottom side Preston was a welcome boost. But it was also the only one of their last seven matches in which they have scored - and only their second win in 11 league games.
