JUST one day before the Championship season begins, Gary Johnson has agreed to loan another of his young players out to get them experience for the season ahead.

The club yesterday agreed deals which saw James Wilson and Frankie Artus join Brentford and now another academy scholar will join them in League Two as Tristain Plummer agreed a loan move to Luton Town. The young striker will join the Kenliworth Road side who face an uphill struggle to just stay in the division after being deducted 30 points by the football league.

Johnson is hoping that the young player will get the oppertunity to gain first team experience and hopes that the initial one month deal will be to both his and the clubs benefit. He told the official website: "Tristan's happy because it means he will get the chance to play first team football. He'll go there and try and help them in a difficult time. He needs games at this level and I hope it will be a valuable experience for him."
