Managers reaction from Huish Park

"We were poor. In fact, I thought it was a poor match that seemed to be lacking passion for a local derby," said the City manager.

"Too many of my players froze. I know we have injuries but it was nothing to do with a lack of experience.

"The players have played in front of bigger crowds than this. I can't explain it but we will work morning, noon and night to get things right."

Yeovil boss Russell Slade

"Our intent was to win the game," Slade said after substitute Arron Davies broke the deadlock with the first goal.

He added: "I took a gamble with 20 minutes to go and sent Arron on, and he turned up trumps.

"We then got a second goal from Wayne Gray when, to be honest, I thought he had run out of gas."
