Millen has been given the green light to delve into the loan market by chairman Steve Lansdown.
He told the club's official website: "There is an option of bringing in another player, we are a little bit short at the back there so that is something me and the chairman have spoken about and he's given me his full backing, so that's good so we'll assess that.
"I don't want to change too much if I can help it because the squad on Saturday showed the spirit and pride that is going to be needed now."
