"I've told the players they couldn't have given me any more. They have worked really hard all week," he said after the 1-1 home draw.
"To be honest, the game looked like a 0-0 and I thought the side to score first would certainly go on to win.
"But it didn't work out that way, as we were caught out on a set-piece. We failed to win the first header, and it fell perfectly for their lad to score."
