FORMER Reading midfielder Scott Murray has backed his current side Bristol City to win at Ashton Gate - providing they get some inspiration from the crowd.

Murray, yet to make a first team appearance this season for City is currently on loan at Cheltenham but insists he will be keen to see his current team put one over his former employers when they meet on Saturday.

Both sides will be looking for victory as City took two points from two games in three days while Reading took just one from their two matches.

"It should be a good game," Murray told the Bracknall Forest Standard,

"The game may be sold out, so there should be a good atmosphere. The fans are usually pretty lively. It's not that far for Reading so it is like a derby match."
