A FA spokesman said: "After careful consideration of all the evidence it has been decided that Bristol City manager Gary Johnson will face no action.

"However, we would like to take this opportunity to remind him of his responsibilities and to give careful consideration to his future actions."

Johnson was sent to the stands for scuffling with the centre-half after he had initially tackled him for believing he had delayed a free-kick in the dying moments.
