Nottm Forest v Bristol City

Last updated : 24 January 2011 By BBC Sport

Bristol City are still unable to call upon on-loan Tottenham youngster Danny Rose, who continues to struggle with back and hamstring problems.

Striker Jon Stead (ankle) and central defender Lewin Nyantanga (Achilles) are also expected to miss the game at the City Ground.

MATCH PREVIEW

Nottingham Forest have gone 32 regular-season home games without losing, and are undefeated in 28 matches against Bristol City, who last beat them in December 1974 and have not won at the City Ground since November 1955.

And the current form of these sides suggests the task facing City on Tuesday is enormous. They have been struggling, while Forest are the Championship's form team, having taken 16 points from a possible 18.

That run has seen Forest move into the top six, and their three consecutive league victories are an ominous sign for a City side that is without a victory in four league and cup games, and without a goal in three.

The Robins have found the going particularly tough away from home, picking up only two points from a possible 15 on the road since winning at Swansea in November. That was a shock victory, and so too would a win at Forest, who have taken 10 points since the start of 2011 - a feat matched only by Leicester.
