BRISTOL City manager Gary Johnson has admitted that the club will be forced to accept offers for Bradley Orr after the defender rejected a new contract offer with the Robins.

The 26-year old defender who joined City from Newcastle in 2004 on a free transfer but is now expected to leave the club after being placed on the transfer list.

Orr will remain as part of the club's playing staff, but Johnson believes that the defender will leave the club in the January transfer window, with Blackburn Rovers believed to be showing an interest in him.

Johnson told the official website,

"I can't see him as a first-team player now if I know, in his head, he's somewhere else. We need people fighting for the club, for me, the chairman and his team-mates.

"Brad would say he'd do that, but human nature dictates that if things don't go well then others could bring up the fact that he hasn't committed to the club.

"He's been great for two-and-a-half years but he's made the decision himself and he'll be moving on."
