Posh defender upbeat ahead of City game

Westwood is ready to lead his side to victory against City.
LESS than 24 hours ahead of their League Cup tie with Bristol City, Peterborough United skipper Chris Westwood has been talking up his teams chances of an upset.


The two sides meet at Ashton Gate tomorrow in the first round of the competition having both been involved in single goal games at the weekend. Though for Posh it was a 1-0 defeat on the opening day of the season to Southend which started off their season.

'Boro were promoted last season thanks to a successful campaign in League Two under Darren Ferguson and the man handed the armband on Saturday believes that his side can make it through to the next round by beating their Championship opponents.
