Ribero to start for City

EARLIER this afternoon Gary Johnson said that he would be making some changes to his team and the manager has now confirmed that the most notable will be youngster Christian Ribero coming in to make his City debut.

The 18-year-old will start at right back in place of Bradley Orr as Bristol make five changes from the weekend's 1-0 win against Blackpool.

Chris Weale continues to deputise for the injured Adriano Basso while Steve Brooker also returns to partner Nicky Maryard in attack. Lee Trundle and David Noble who both missed out at Bloomfield Road are among the attacking substitutues.

The confirmed team to start is: Weale, Ribero, Carey, Fontaine, McAllister, Sproule, Johnson, Skuse, McIndoe, Brooker, Maynard.

Subs: Orr, McCombe, Noble, B.Wilson, G.Williams, Trundle and Henderson.
