READING defender Liam Rosenior is looking forward to a return to Bristol City tomorrow.

The defender began his career with City although this will be the first time he has returned since leaving. The 24-year-old is likely to play a part in the game tomorrow as Reading look for only their second away win of the campaign.

Rosenior spent five of his teenage years playing for the club's academy and he told the Reading Chronicle that he is looking forward to a return,

"It's going to be the first time I've played there since I was at the club and I'm really looking forward to it.

"It seems like ages since I was there."

Rosenior also praised the way the club has moved forward since he left gaining promotion to the Championship and becoming one of the sides capable of making it to the Premiership,

"When I left they were a League One team. Now they have a fantastic manager and they were one game away from the Premier League. They're a very big club and similar to Reading in a lot of ways in terms of the size, the catchment area and support base."

As City look to reignite their hopes of a top six place, Rosenior admits he'll be doing all he can to help his current team beat his old one,

"I have been practising my shooting because I've had a couple of chances."

"I had one at Preston cleared off the line and one at Burnley that went just wide so I'm getting closer!"
