Sheff Wed v Bristol City

Last updated : 04 April 2010 By BBC Sport

Bristol City will be without goalkeeper Dean Gerken, who looks certain to miss the rest of the season with a suspected broken collarbone.

Young Irishman Stephen Henderson is expected to take Gerken's place.

MATCH PREVIEW

Prior to the Easter weekend, Sheffield Wednesday manager Alan Irvine targeted at least two more wins to preserve their Championship status.

Saturday's draw at QPR - their fifth in six games - kept Wednesday two points above the relegation zone, but Irvine knows his side need a victory to calm the nerves.

That will not come easily against a Bristol City side rejuvenated under caretaker manager Keith Millen. Saturday's creditable draw against Nottingham Forest extended City's unbeaten record to four matches under him since the departure of Gary Johnson.

That run has guaranteed them another season of Championship football. However, Millen will not tolerate any City slackers and has challenged his players to eclipse last year's points tally of 61.
