WHILE Bristol City were losing their way somewhat in the Midlands, down on the south coast Plymouth Argyle were picking up a much needed three points.

A goal from Rory Fallen settled things between Argyle and Forest on Saturday and Paul Sturrock was delighted to win after recent 'below par' performances from his side. Looking for back-to-back victories at home of his rivals, Sturrock hopes his side can apply themselves in the same way they did at the weekend but realises that it will be a tough game.

He told Radio Devon: "It's been a difficult time, because the performances against Norwich and Swansea we unacceptable.

"But they've come out of that and shown the right character and we've got the right result because of that.

"I just hope the players can apply themselves as well tonight."

City, who picked up their first win at home against Doncaster last Saturday will be hoping to avoid consecutive defeats and Gary Johnson's men could be boosted by the return of Brian Wilson.
