Tell us a bit about yourself:
My name's Ben, I'm a student at Huddersfield Uni.

How long have you supported United?
Supported United for as long as I can remember really, grown up with them, because of my mum rather than my dad, which is unusual.

What is your earliest memory of the club?
Drawing against Arsenal in the FA Cup, then knocking them out in the replay.
What is the club's proudest moment you have witnessed?
Promotion should be the best I suppose, but there have been some magnificent nights at the Lane during my time. Beating Arsenal in the Premiership when Nade scored the winner was good, as well as any time we beat Wednesday. The victory over Liverpool was excellent, although disappointing to eventually get knocked out, but the two that i remember most, would have to be, beating Leeds United 2-1, with an injury time comeback, thanks to goals from Peter Ndlovu after an absolute screamer by Phil Jagielka. The other is still perhaps my favourite memory, and it's when were in a real mess, and drew Coventry in the FA Cup. We drew 1-1 away, but the home replay was my favourite match to date. 1-0 down after Paul Telfer's free-kick early on, until David Holdsworth pulled a magnificent volley out of the top drawer in the 89th minute. Alan Kelly made 3 saves and we beat them 3-1 on penalties.

How did you do last season?
Very disappointing, and a lot of the fans turned on chairman McCabe for his appointment of Bryan Robson, who was simply a clown. A clown for all to see! He got the sack on my birthday however (what a present) and Blackwell came in and almost led us to the play offs.

Did you buy or sell many players before the transfer window closed?
Not really, Halford, Sun, Henderson,Cotterill the most significant. However, today we finally sealed the deal of Brian Howard from Barnsley, which has excited a lot of Blades fans.

How do you assess the season so far?
Not bad, but not good enough. It will never be good enough while ever we're underneath Wednesday, but our performances need to improve dramatically if we hope to achieve our promotion aspirations.

How do you rate the job Kevin Blackwell is doing?
Not bad so far, a lot of people believe we are playing ugly football, but to be honest if we get 3 points at the end of a game, it can be as ugly and long ball-esque as they want.

Who is your best player?
James Beattie is the obvious one, but Billy Sharp has certainly had a much better start to the season than last year.

Who might Bristol City be able to expose?
Chris Morgan & Gary Naysmith. Morgan, will give silly free-kicks away and is terrible against anybody with pace & Naysmith can't handle pacy tricky wingers.

Where do you realistic expect to finish?
Before the start of the season I said 5th, after the start of the season that changed to 3rd. Lately it was 12th, but I think anywhere between 5th - 8th
How do you think Bristol City will do this year? Not as well as last year I'm afraid, a mid table finish beckons I believe, but I'm sure you'd rather be there than scrapping with relegation.

Which City player do you think will be the dangerman for your team?
Billy Sharp, give the man the ball inside the 18 yard area and chances are, he can find a way of getting a shot on targer somehow.

If United were a cartoon character, which one would they be?
Wile E Coyote. Chasing Premiership is like chasing roadrunner, we tried everything, to get it, and we chased & chased with no success, but we did eventually catch it, but everyone knew it just wasn't going to last & soon enough "meep meep"...gone!

Sum the club up in three words... Frustrating, Underachieving, Religion
Give us your prediction for the game... Same as last year, 2-1 Blades.

As far as the season goes generally...
Who will win the league? Birmingham, seem the obvious choice, but we'll see.
Who else will get promoted? Reading automatic. Play Offs is anybody's, I'd like to say us, but you never know, Wolves are playing well but it's early doors yet.
Who will be relegated? Forest, barnsley & Blackpool
Who will will the golden boot? Kevin Doyle (Billy Sharp???)

And finally, if United get a £30 million payout from West Ham, what
should you do with the money?! Split it between the people who had season tickets last season after the relegation....then let them chose whether to put it back into the club. Seriously though, we're in a very good financial position (apparently) so just invest it directly into the present day team. Not academy, not foreign links, just players, bring in another couple of central midfielders, get rid of te deadwood. Buy another quality centre half & a really explosive striker, somebody in the Ebanks-Blake mould, but better. We have the big lads, the tricky forward, and Danny Webber, but we have nobody with pace & power and a good finisher all in one.
