Tinnion: We Took Our Foot Off The Pedal

City fired in four goals in the first half-hour of the game at Ashton Gate but then allowed Vale to score twice to bring the score back to 4-2.

"We stopped doing the things we had done so well in the opening half-hour," Tinnion said after the game.

"Steve Phillips had too many saves to make in the first half even though we had established a commanding lead.

"When we got four goals so quickly we took our foot off the pedal, which is always dangerous."
