The City forward had expressed a desire to remain at Elland Road and the two club's have now reached agreement on extending his loan until the 10th March.

"If I could stay for another month and get some more games under my belt I'd be happy to do that," Trundle had said earlier.

"As a footballer what you want to do is go out on a Saturday and enjoy your game. because there's nothing worse than sitting in the stand or on the bench when you just love playing football.

"While I'm getting games under my belt and enjoying it I'm happy to stay."

Trundle has already spent one month on loan at Elland Road but that deal would have ended after Leeds' game against Milwall tonight (Monday).
