The City forward has been on loan at Elland Road for the past month but Leeds' game against Millwall tonight (Monday) will be his last unless a loan deal extension can be agreed between the two club's.

"At the minute Bristol City are doing well, they're on a good run of games so I can't see the team changing at the moment," Trundle told Sky Sports News.

"If I could stay for another month and get some more games under my belt I'd be happy to do that.

"As a footballer what you want to do is go out on a Saturday and enjoy your game. because there's nothing worse than sitting in the stand or on the bench when you just love playing football.

"While I'm getting games under my belt and enjoying it I'm happy to stay."
