Trundle is eager to return to the Liberty Stadium -but how soon?
BRISTOL City striker Lee Trundle has revealed his desire to rejoin Swansea - at some point in his career.

Boss Gary Johnson is believed to be looking to make a move in the transfer market with several newspapers suggesting he is looking at bringing in a striker, whether it is to replace Trundle however is unclear.

The talented striker made a move from the Liberty Stadium last season in a £1m deal and will face his former side as the Swans secured promotion to the Championship by winning the League One title last year. Trundle has so far not replicated the form that earned him the tag of 'fans favourite' in South Wales scoring only six goals in fourty-one apperances last season and has made just two outings from the bench so far in 2008/09 following the signing of Nicky Maynard.

Trundle refused to comment on whether he could be leaving Ashton Gate to seek first team football if the situation continued but he told the Swansea Evening Post on his wish to rejoin Swansea 'one day'. He said: "In football it's hard to talk in terms of when things will happen, so I don't know if I would move back in the short term but I would definately like to return."
