Tyson looking to end goal drought

FOREST striker Nathan Tyson hopes to break his scoring drought this weekend by helping his side to a victory against Bristol City.

Tyson, who has not found the net since the opening day against Watford, played brilliantly against Birmingham last weekend as Forest picked up a deserving draw against the Championship favourites.

He told the Forest official website of his determination to get on the scoresheet for his club against City on Saturday,

"I came off the pitch (on Saturday) and was obviously disappointed because I missed a lot of chances, and when you haven't scored a goal for a while, it just plays on your mind and you need to get another goal to get yourself rolling again.

"I have been dropped for three games then came back in against Birmingham and I've got a point to prove to the gaffer.

"Obviously it's all down to the gaffer what team he selects, I'm in the squad, but I'm now raring to go when called upon.

"I just think I have to settle and prove to Colin and to myself that I can compete at this level."
