Rovers and Robins share points

Liam Ridehalgh's first goal for Tranmere earned Rovers a 1-1 draw against Bristol City - a result that extended both sides' unbeaten run to five games.

Ronnie Moore's men remain in the League One relegation zone, though, while the Robins sit above the bottom four on goal difference after defender Ridehalgh cancelled out Sam Baldock's early opener shortly before half-time.

Baldock beat the offside trap after 14 minutes, giving himself plenty of time to receive Bobby Reid's nicely weighted pass, to roll the ball beyond goalkeeper Jason Mooney for his sixth league goal of the season.

But Ridehalgh's driven strike from the edge of the box, his first goal since January 2012, flew into the bottom corner of the net to level things up four minutes before the break.

There was still time left in the first half for Jay Emmanuel-Thomas to force a good save from Mooney while Chris Atkinson saw his 25-yard shot slide wide early in the second period.

City keeper Elliot Parish also needed to be alert to palm Jake Kirby's cross from underneath his own crossbar in a frantic finish.
