The worry is obviously Danny Coles at right back. Personally I would swap him and Clayton Fortune, and no doubt things will change during the course of the game. I'd hate to start the season with a centre back at right back. Hopefully Jamie Smith will sign permanently.
Pompey managed to beat Plymouth 5-1 on Wednesday with an impressive second half display. The Argyle fans I spoke to said that it was a "game of two halves" and that Plymouth "won the first half but didn't take all of their chances". Yeah, right. Pompey have named a strong squad for tonights game; Hislop, Ashdown, Guatelli, Primus, Stefanovic, De Zeeuw, Unsworth, Griffin, Curtis, Stone, Quashie, Berkovic, Berger, Taylor, Hughes, O'Neil, Yakubu, LuaLua, Mornar.
Aiyegbeni Yakubu was impressive, completing a hat-trick with one of the coolest finishes you are likely to see, dummying the goalkeeper into a dive before rolling the ball into the net. You could almost hear him saying "Easy now!" like Big Brother's Victor. I gather from Pompey fans that Lomana Tresor Lua Lua is on fire too. Let's hope that the fire is put out before the game.
