Emma Hayes became the most successful manager in Chelsea history as she guided the Blues to their second consecutive Conti Cup with a 6-0 victory over Bristol City.
Chelsea came into this one as massive favourites, with memories of their 5-0 victory over Bristol City just four weeks earlier still fresh, and Hayes' side needed just two minutes to assert their dominance on the game.
Fran Kirby squared the ball across the goal, allowing Australian star Sam Kerr to tap home perhaps the easiest goal of her illustrious career, and the pair combined again to make it two just eight minutes later.
After setting up the first two, Kirby got in on the fun herself around the half-hour mark with a delightful lob that caught goalkeeper Sophie Baggaley completely off guard, and the England international fired home once again soon after to give Hayes' side a 4-0 lead at the break.
Finished with the goals now, Kirby went back to creating three minutes into the second half as she unselfishly squared the ball to Kerr, who again had a simple tap-in to complete her hat-trick and walk away with the match ball.
Kerr's goals stole the headlines, but it was Kirby who ran the show, and she picked up her fourth assist with an excellent lay-off for Guro Reiten, capping off what was undoubtedly an 11/10 performance from the diminutive forward.
For around 75 minutes, everything was going perfectly for Hayes' side, but the game ended on a sour note after defender Maren Mjelde picked up a nasty knee injury and needed oxygen before being stretchered off the field.
Chelsea ended the game with ten players but were always in complete control of proceedings, and the referee's whistle saw Hayes seal her ninth trophy as manager of the Blues.
She is now the most decorated boss in Chelsea history, male or female, moving ahead of the eight trophies won by Jose Mourinho during his time in charge of the men's side between 2004-07 and 2013-15.
After the game, Hayes dedicated the victory to Mjelde, while Kirby took her team-mates shirt up to the podium as a show of support for the Norwegian.
