Good game! Controlled it for long periods without creating too many chances. A draw was a good result but to see some goals would have been nicer. I thought that Clayton Fortune was awesome in midfield - our Viera. Three words for Jamie Smith - SIGN HIM ON!!

Steve Phillips also made some very good saves. The front three confused me as to who was playing where?? I think it will do the same to Coca-Cola league One opposition, which is ideal, n'est pas? Joe Anyinsah was superb, an "Aaron Brown on acid", a little raw, but not as raw as Leroy Lita who I thought was the worst for us by quite some way, missing two easy chances. We have seen better from him Leroy in the past and hopefully will in the future, but I would not start with him against Torquay Utd (who were beaten 2-4 at home by Yeovil Town tonight). Steven Gillespie and Paul Heffernan were not given the space that League One teams will give them but I believe will do a good job.

Liam Miller and Christian Roberts looked up for it and Scott Murray made some 'interesting' runs. Orr was solid and like Gillespie tends to put himself about a bit, may have to watch the bookings with those two. Ryan Harley looks a very assured player, if for some reason we don't sign Smith then he would do a job at right back? I'm guessing. Dave Cotterill was not on for long enough to make an impression, but at 16 has a great future, surely?

Craig Woodman had a good game going forward. Danny Coles at right back actually looked good going forwards at times. In defence he drifted into centre back too often, but had Yakubu rattled. Tony Butler, I thought played well also. Matty Hill made one mistake, allowing Portsmouth in by missing a clearance, but had the pace to get back at the player and put him off a shot that Phillips saved well.

The only really class acts for them were Lua Lua and the big black guy at the back (Primus?). Mornar looked a very awkward player from the Ministry of Silly Running. Steve Stone looked good, but we know that about him, he was a stroppy git though! But we coped with them all.

I have a feeling we will be playing Pompey next year in the Championship. Harry Redknapp did not seem impressed by the way they played when speaking on SkySportsNews, he was not quoted with anything he said about us though.

My man of the match was without doubt Clayton Fortune, he was superb in the holding roll in midfield, controlling the ball and making space for the right pass. He has a presence about him there. As the teams lined up I thought that Pompey generally looked a lot bigger than us, and then I saw Clayton Fortune and thought again.

Oh and our No. 11 looked good for an old bloke.
