City’s women have set a great example for the men’s team after they clinched the FA Southern Division title and promotion to the National Division.
City thrashed Wimbledon 6-0 in their last game of the season and can complete a double if they beat Bristol Rovers in the GFA Cup on Tuesday 11th May.
Not only will City be playing the likes of Arsenal, Fulham, Charlton and Doncaster Belles but they will also be playing local derbies against Rovers who are currently in the top flight.
So, at last, Bristol has two top flight teams!
