Defenders set to return

Bristol City are set to be boosted by the return to fitness of defenders Jamie McCombe and Bradley Orr ahead of Tuesday's trip to Northampton. The pair missed the recent visit to Cheltenham but will give manager Gary Johnson an extra physical presence at Sixfields.

Centre half McCombe and right back Orr were back in training yesterday as City looked ahead to a weekend of training as they are without a game because the Cobblers trip has been put back for Sky TV coverage.

Johnson said: "We have got this break and it enables a few of the lads to get over the niggles they played with the other night and a few of the others to get over the problems that kept them out of the game.
