Scorers: Miller (5 & 49), Cotterill (66) and Brown (80).

In case you were wondering, Brown is not Aaron or Marvin or an own goal, it is Scott Brown. No, not the young goalkeeper, but a young, former Everton, trialist says bcfc.co.uk. Cotterill is Dave Cotterill a first year academy starlet. Lee Miller got his goals but according to one eye witness, did not seem interested. He will be hoping it is enough for a start against Torquay, but competition for one of maybe three strikers places looks fierce. City have scored 21 goals in 5 friendlies so far with Pompey and WBA quaking in their Premiership boots!!

Jamie Smith apparently had a good trial, setting up the first goal with a cross for Miller to head home. Good picture of him in a City shirt on bcfc.co.uk. Kevin Barrallon however went off injured to be replaced by another first year professional Craig Loxton. The third trialist Clint Davis, made some tidy saves in goal, where he was ocassionally troubled.

Millers second came after good work by Cole Skuse (presumably another City youngster?) who was made  bcfc.co.uk man of the match. Cotterill scored after only being on the pitch for three minutes. Browns goal was the best of the night from 25 yards.

Former City players Ben Cleverley and Matt Aubrey shone for Forest Green.

City: Davis; Smith (Holly 73), Simpson, Fortune (Allward 46), Hart; Hawkins (Brown 73), Skuse, Goodfellow (Cotterill 63); Anyinsah (Flurry 73), Miller, Barralon (Loxton 46).
