If only the season stated in December

After losing to Bradord on Dec 6th we were rooted to the bottom of the table. The improvement has been breathaking.

It looks as if the incredible run of 18 points from the last 21 will not quite be enough though to catapult the club into the play offs.

There's a 6 point gap still to cover with only three games to go. Not impossible but unlikely.

Assistant Keith Millen knows how important a win at Tranmere is this Satuday.

"They will be desperate to get three points, but so will we. We want to win all our last three games," he said.

"All we can do is just look after ourselves and hope the other sides slip up. If things go our way, we could be three points off the play-offs after this weekend. We don't want to be left kicking ourselves if results do go our way but we fail to take advantage."

Tranmere are not safe yet from relegation and it will be a tight game at Prenton Park.
