Would Johnson think the Premiership was predictable if City were there...?
FOR a football manager like Gary Johnson, a week away from football probably feels like a lot longer.

Although his players have been training as usual, the international break has meant that City's last game was a 1-1 draw with QPR and on Saturday they will travel to Cardiff City in an attempt to build on two wins from two away from home.

As there has been no game, Gary Johnson has had time to reflect on his sides performances and stated that his side's intention is to carry on from where they left off.

The City boss has also been speaking at length this week about a 'crazy' week in football which has seen a multi-billion pound takeover at Manchester City and two Premiership managers walk away from their jobs because of outside interference. Johnson's aim is to get City into what he describes as the 'constant media headlines' of the Premiership but it looking forward to returning to Championship action this week as he feels supporters get better value for money.

He told the Bristol Evening Post: "It's all too predictable in the Premier League/ We could all write down our predictions for the rest of the season on a piece of paper and none of us would be far wrong.

"Some teams are so much more powerful than the rest and because others can't compete financially, it nearly always pans out as we expect.

"That simply isn't the case in the Championship."
