"I could tell from my early chat with the players that they were taking in what I was saying.
"There is still room for improvement. I would have liked us to press for a fourth goal in the closing stages because we were never going to lose the game and I like to send the fans home happy.
"But the lads had given everything. Perhaps they need to be a bit fitter, but we will work on that."
