Maynard set for Robins return

Last season`s top scorer has yet to feature this campaign after undergoing knee surgery in the summer.

He topped up his fitness with another run-out for the reserves on Wednesday, and boss Keith Millen said: "He will be in the squad.

"He`s a little stiff but he will train on Friday. He`s very excited about it and it will be great to see him back."

With Maynard back in the frame, Millen could opt to stick with the three-pronged attack of Brett Pitman, Andy Keogh and David Clarkson that finished the game at Preston last weekend.

If selected, defender Louis Carey will make his 600th appearance for the club.
