SCOTTISH winger Michael McIndoe has called on his team to 'up their game' in the wake of a disappointing defeat to Wolves on Saturday.

The midfielder played a part as City went down to their second defeat of the season and slipped to sixth in the league table, while Wolves extended their unbeaten streak to eight games and continued to show that they should be taken seriously as genuine title contenders.

McIndoe feels that his team can learn from their defeat, but must improve soon,

"They've come on miles since I left. I thought it was men against boys at some stages," he told the Bristol Evening Post.

The winger hinted that City must improve if they are to close the gap on west midlands pair Wolves and Birmingham,

"Ten points is a big gap and I thought that gap showed on the football pitch. We came up short, if I'm honest."
