From what I have heard, Gillespie and Heffernan played well as did Lee Miller. Orr looked a force in midfield, "a trainee Brian Tinnion" one source described him as. Gillespies goals were top quality, why did Liverpool let him go?
Harley also impressed, which is quite something for a 19 year old midfielder.
The only criticism that has been heard is the impact of the arrival all the new boys on the attitude of the more established players such as Murray and Roberts. That remains to be seen, hopefully it will spur them on to play even better than they have done.
It seems Tinman likes his football the way City fans do, ATTACKING.
