Norwich sit in 21st place coming back from the international break and have been out of sorts so far this term despite confidence that they could break free from the relegation worries of last campaign. Russell has been one of the stand-out performers for Glenn Roeders' side and has confidence that a victory this weekend will help them to maintain their progress,
"I've found when we have lots of new players that it takes time to get that continuity but hopefully once it does happen we'll be firing on all cylinders," said Russell, who believes that a large influx of new players has affected their form,
"It seems like we're playing good stuff but just that little something needs to click.
"It was an honour to lead the team out and if the opportunity arises again then I will be happy to do it."
