Seeason ticket sales break the 7,000 barrier

"We've broken the 7,000 barrier and I know we've got a further 200 to go on top of that for debentures and various schemes," Sextone told the official website.

"Our final figure last season was 7,400 and I would be very surprised if we didn't surpass that amount before the Scunthorpe game.

"We'll be putting into place a sales plan over the next three weeks to increase our current tally further and I'd like to thank every supporter who has renewed or purchased a season ticket to date."

"We attracted 15,481 for the opening day game with Doncaster last season," Colin added. "We'd like as many, if not more than that figure for the Scunthorpe game.

"The anticipation is there and crowds after that will be determined on how well we perform on the pitch."
