Sing When You're Winning

A competition is being run on the Official Site to suggest music for City to run out to. Everyone seems to know that the Bristol public get on their teams backs when things are not going so well and the club seem to feel that this sort of stunt will create the right sort of atmosphere from the start.









I think playing well from the start would help far more, however one visitor to the KC Stadium explained to the Football Ground Guide that what they do there certainly did the trick for him;

"Inside the ground the stadium is breathtaking. Completely enclosed and very impressive. The PA announcer does his best to whip up some enthusiasm and is quite effective with the medley of footy type songs that are played up to kick off. Just before the teams enter the arena he welcomes the away supporters and introduces the three home stands to us culminating in the East Stand who made as much noise as possible to intimidate us. The teams come on to some gladiatorial music and all in all a sense of occasion is created. Excellent! "

I will be looking forward to visiting the KC for the first time. Maybe City's Commercial Department should travel to Hull for some catering and entertainments tips.
