The 2019/20 winter transfer window in the Women’s Super League has officially closed, with almost every club doing some form of business – whether it be permanent signings coming and going, or simpler loan deals until the end of the campaign.
Some transfers, like the high profile arrival of Australian superstar Sam Kerr at Chelsea, were announced before business officially began, but could only be fully registered and completed once the window opened on 27th December.
Arsenal’s similarly high profile capture of Kerr’s international teammate Caitlin Foord wasn’t actually publicly announced until the morning after the deadline passed.
